Sunday 24th February was unusually busy for me. This is a good thing. There was time for a client fitting in the morning and a photoshoot with Rick Nunn in the afternoon. Rick likes to set himself challenging projects. Fifty Two Weeks 2013 is his latest:
‘I am going to create 52 images, each image is going to be created from at least two photographs taken that week’
It’s a fabulous location, a grade II listed building in the centre of town which although being converted into a nightclub still retains many of its original features. It also has a lot of photographic potential in the unrestored ‘off limits’ rooms and the derelict feel is an added bonus.
Our theme was retro and featured local vintage model Sara Redman who looked fabulous in all the outfits I had planned for her. It gave me a great opportunity to show off a dress I completed at the end of last year using the remains of some Robert Kaufman fabric from a previous project. You can’t beat pink flamingos! We were also joined by Ryan Havoc who was using Rick as the focus for a film project.
The rest of the images will be available soon. In the mean time check out Rick’s website here.
